President's Message
It has been a positive year for the Merritt Walk of Stars project. Positive always comes with challenges, but we have risen to the challenges and created positive outcomes for our community. I would like to thank the volunteers, the Board of Directors, the City of Merritt and the partners and supporters who have supported this project and our events in 2010. We are looking forward to 2011 and the return of Mountainfest to our community. I invite you to join us at the 8th Annual Merritt Walk of Stars Gala Weekend coming up May 27 - 29, 2011.

Merritt Walk of Stars 7th Annual Gala Weekend was a big success.
MWOS Gala Weekend was held May 28th - May 30th this year. The weekend included an Industry Night hosted by Iron Mountain Music, outdoor performances (moved into the future Hall of Honour due to a little inclement weather), the 7th Annual Gala and the 1st Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament.
The Gala crowd was enterterained by Gord Bamford, Beverley Mahood, Charlie Major, Kenny Hess, Valdy, The Higgins, AJ Woodworth, Ridley Bent, Tammy Weymouth, Stuart Emslie and Rob Hess.
Mark you calendar for the 8th Annual MWOS Gala Weekend on May 27 - 29, 2011, in Merritt, BC, The Country Music Capital of Canada. The weekend will include The Gala, outdoor performances a celebrity golf tournament and a few new surprises. Watch for ticket sales coming early in 2011.
